Water Ripple Stainless Steel Ceiling Panel

A stainless steel ceiling panel carrying a three-dimensional water ripple surface. Overhead, a flat reflective panel tends to read as one even sheet; the ripple relief breaks that plane into flowing highlights and shadows, so the ceiling changes as people move beneath it and as the light shifts through the day.

Why the surface moves
The effect comes from geometry, not from an applied graphic. The sheet itself is formed with an irregular relief, so reflections are broken into pieces that travel as the viewing angle changes. That is why the ceiling never presents one fixed image: it reads calm from one direction and highly dynamic from another.
Ripple scale
Ripple scale is chosen against the size of the surface and the height it is seen from. Finer ripple produces denser, more controlled highlights for detail surfaces and smaller interiors; medium ripple balances texture and reflection for lobbies and general ceiling areas; large ripple gives broader movement for large ceilings and landmark interiors. On extensive ceilings medium or large ripple is normally the practical choice.
Lighting behaviour
Soft, diffuse light reveals the relief through quiet tonal transitions, while focused downlights increase contrast between highlights and valleys. The colour of surrounding finishes is also reflected, so the ceiling picks up warmth or coolness from the space rather than staying neutral.
Panel production
Panels are formed to the project ceiling module, with joint layout and lighting positions resolved before production. The full surface range is set out on the water ripple stainless steel page.
