Detail Information

A perforated stainless steel panel produced to a project-specific pattern rather than a catalogue standard. The design can be a geometric composition, a graded density field, or artwork translated into openings, and it is resolved on the sheet before production so the pattern reads correctly once the panels are fixed in sequence.

From drawing to pattern

A custom pattern has to survive two translations: from the design intent to a perforation layout, and from that layout to panels that line up across joints. Both are settled before production, because a pattern that works on a single sheet can break at a panel edge if the repeat was not planned against the module size.

What can vary

Hole shape, hole size, spacing, arrangement and density can all be set per project. Density can shift gradually across a panel to move between transparency and privacy, or hold constant where a uniform surface is wanted. Patterns are not limited to catalogued shapes: project-specific compositions and graphic motifs are translated into openings.

Finish combinations

Perforation is combined with the surface finish rather than chosen separately. Brushed, mirror and PVD colour surfaces all behave differently behind an opening, because the cut edge, the face and the depth of the hole each catch light. PVD batches are held to an average DE below 1.0.

Sampling

An A4-size project sample is available within 3 days so the pattern, open area and finish can be judged in real light before the panel is specified.
