Fluted Stainless Steel Feature Wall

A fluted wall adds direction to a room. The flutes run vertically in most interiors, which lifts the perceived height, and each flute casts a narrow shadow line so the surface reads as texture from any distance.

Pitch and scale

Flute width and pitch decide whether the wall reads as a fine rib or as bold vertical architecture. Pitch is set against the panel module so the flutes land consistently at joints.

Shadow as material

The shadow in each flute is as much a part of the appearance as the metal. That is why fluted walls hold up in low light where a flat surface would go dull.

Finish over relief

PVD over a flute reads considerably stronger than the same colour on a flat wall, because highlights sit on the crests and tone deepens in the channels.
