Curved PVD Canopy and Portal Cladding

A curved coloured canopy is the hardest version of the detail to get right, because the tone changes along the curve as the surface turns away from the light. Done properly, that variation is the effect; done inconsistently, it looks like a coating fault.

Tone along a curve
On a curved surface the viewing angle is continuously changing, so a PVD tone shifts across the panel. This is expected and is part of why a coloured curve reads as depth.
Batch consistency
Canopy, soffit and portal are produced from the same PVD batch and held to an average colour difference below DE 1.0, because they are seen together at the same moment.
Forming after coating
Where possible the panel is formed before coating, so the coating follows the final geometry and does not crack or thin at the bend.
Sampling and quotation
An A4-size project sample is available within 3 days so the material can be judged under real light before it is specified. Initial quotation response is provided for qualified project inquiries, and MOQ with lead time is confirmed against the confirmed project scope rather than assumed from the product type.
See the canopy systems or request a curved colour sample.
