Elevator Portal Surround Panel

The portal surround is the frame around the lift opening, and it is read from directly in front while people wait. That is an unforgiving viewing condition: the door head line, the reveal depth and the joint positions are all compared against the door itself.

Reveal depth
The surround can sit flush with the wall or set back to form a reveal. A reveal gives the opening a shadow line and hides the wall junction; a flush portal demands tighter alignment but reads cleaner. The choice affects how the door appears from an angle.
Joints at the door head
The horizontal joint above the door is the most visible line in the detail. It is set against the door height and the panel module together, so it does not drift relative to either.
Finish
Brushed and etched finishes tolerate handling; mirror surrounds show marks where people press the call button.
Sampling and quotation
An A4-size project sample is available within 3 days so the material can be judged under real light before it is specified. Initial quotation response is provided for qualified project inquiries, and MOQ with lead time is confirmed against the confirmed project scope rather than assumed from the product type.
