Linear Metal Ceiling with Open Joints

A linear ceiling is directional by nature. Long repeated profiles with open joints pull the eye along the room, which is why it works so well in corridors and concourses and so badly in spaces that should feel square.

Direction is the design decision
The profiles are aligned with the dominant movement of the space, or deliberately across it to slow that movement. Because the effect is strong, the direction is decided before the ceiling is set out, not chosen per room on site.
Open joints
Open joints absorb tolerance and let air pass, and they keep the ceiling visually light. The trade-off is that the plenum above becomes partly visible, so the void is treated as part of the design rather than left as a service space.
Finish
Brushed profiles read as a fine directional texture; mirror profiles turn the ceiling into a reflecting surface and should be used where height is wanted.
Sampling and quotation
An A4-size project sample is available within 3 days so the material can be judged under real light before it is specified. Initial quotation response is provided for qualified project inquiries, and MOQ with lead time is confirmed against the confirmed project scope rather than assumed from the product type.
