Can I receive a physical colour sample before ordering?
Yes. Sample making is free of charge and the courier freight is paid by the customer. A sample is prepared within 2 days and shipped within 3 days. A physical sample is the only reliable way to approve a PVD colour, because screen rendering and photography both shift hue.
What to approve on the sample
Base finish, colour and gloss as one combination, viewed under the lighting the facade will actually receive. Approving a colour swatch without the base finish is not an approval.
When to approve it
Before the production batch is scheduled. Once coating parameters are set for a run, restarting the batch to change colour costs more than the sample saved.
What to keep afterwards
A retained reference panel held for the duration of the project, so later phases are compared with the same physical object rather than with a memory or a photograph.
